With The Summer of 2013 slowly fading into fond memories, there is only 30 days left until the first day of Fall. The sounds of a late August summer morning are ominous of a new season soon to take over. The chirping of crickets in the morning and night are a true indicator of an impending change of season around here. This footage taken from the West Island Causeway during a full moon high-tide cycle at 830 AM on August 21, 2013. The temperature was 73 degrees with a gentle breeze out of the southwest. Today we should experience one of Summer's last gasps of hazy, hot and humid weather with temps in the mid 80's.
