FAIRHAVEN - A waterfront home was completely destroyed by fire this morning at 36 Nelson Avenue in the Wilbur Pt section down the south end of Sconticut Neck Rd. Firefighters arrived this morning and found the house fully involved on all floors. A witness saw the house fully engulfed around 430AM from nearby West Island.The family was away as the house was undergoing some floor repairs. There were no reported injuries. According to Lt. Wayne Oliveira - Public Information Officer at the scene the cause of the fire is under investigation. The estimated loss is over $750,000. MLBaron Photos http://www.westislandweather.com/
