The top half of a pole at the end of Winsegansett Heights Fairhaven, MA was blown off by a lightning strike. * AT 1056 AM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH. THIS STORM WAS LOCATED NEAR PEMBROKE...OR 10 MILES NORTHWEST OF PLYMOUTH...AND WAS MOVING EAST AT 30 MPH
