This West Island sunset captured on the first day of Daylight Saving Time. This year marks the earliest possible starting period for this event with the first Sunday of November being the designated start date which began in 2007. The temperature was 55 degrees with 85% humidity and lots of mosquitoes. The camera used was a Sony Hybrid DCR-SR 220, which is the primary workhorse for the West Island Weather Station.
