The ferry "EAGLE" underway, was headed to it's Hyannis - Nantucket route this Thursday morning, January 9, 2014 at 727AM. It's speed at the time was 15 knots about 5 miles southwest off West Island. Although not the biggest or majestic of the island passenger ferries, the 276 ton - 232 foot vessel still has some good lines to her with double stacks amid-ship.
