CATCH MY DRIFT? A large dried out section of driftwood (which is actually a tree about 18 feet long) weathered and bleached has been at this spot for years. It adds character to this peaceful spot in Buzzards Bay at East Cove of The West Island State Reservation, Thursday, January 9, 11:15AM. The temperature was 28 degrees with a bearable wind chill of 23F. The ocean temp was 33.7 and iced up along the shore. I went along shore with my dogs to also see if anything significant had washed ashore since the kayak incident with missing boater on Dec 31st. MLBaron photo.
